DEPTH PERCEPTION
Carl has been experiencing depth perception issues. He finally admitted he has been having problems when driving, that things look further away then what they really are.
He is snoring more and experience issues with sleep apnea. The doctors want him to have a sleep study in hopes that will find answers.
Until then, he continues to be their guinea pig.

THYROID
Carl's condition continues to deteriorate. His thyroid levels have continued to decrease. He aches, feels constantly tired, falls asleep and experiences headaches.
Carl will receive a fasting blood draw tomorrow, November 10, 2011, which we hope will reveal additional information as to his current condition.

THINGS ARE BETTER
I know I have not posted in a while in regards to Carl's brain tumor. Mainly because things have been better. Or, as his endocrinologist explains, Carl's tumor has been "behaving."
Lately, Carl has been experiencing more symptoms. He has been experiencing the following:
Fatigue
Skin Tags
Excessive sweating
Joint pain/arthritis
Oily skin/acne
Numbness in the hands
Carl went to see the endocrinologist about a month and a half ago. The normal HG level for a male his age is 310...at its highest. Carl's has maintained a level of 320. Like I said, his tumor has been "behaving" so they were not as concerned with the higher rating. When they tested his HG level during his last visit, the level shot up to 360. at the same time, his symptoms have been worse... the symptoms I listed above.
If you read this, please pray. We do not know what to expect and do not know what the steps will be. Carl wants the doctors to just remove his tumor so he can live without all this bs for a while. Time...
